About Us
This is the online home of the Vasey-Saunders Family. This is a place where we post a variety of frivolous bits and bobs and generally attempt to stay up to date with people.
Our Family includes 3 small boys who are mostly wonderful. Leah who is catholic but mostly open-minded post-modern feminist ordained in 2003 and curate in westerhope, Newcastle until December 2004. She spent time as an NSM in the local St Georges’s, Jesmond during the early years of their three children. Leah is about to become TeamVicar/Vicar Designate of the Parish of Heath Hayes in the Diocese of Lichfield. Mark, who is ‘Open evangelical’ (if labels mean anything) was ordained in 2001 and curate in Ponteland, Northumberland until august 2004. He then toook up post as Chaplain to the University of Newcastle (upon-Tyne) and begain his PhD at Durham (evangelical ecclesiology and mission). Mark is about to start writing up his PhD around school runs and a small toddler.
This, whom you call ‘servant’ is your Lord.
To be the Lord means to be the servant;
to do the dirty work
and to do it in love.
